The Orphanage is one of many in Myanmar. They have about 50 kids currently in their care. The students attend public school during the week. Some of the English teachers in town go on weekends to teach the kids English. The kids are always very excited about these lessons as they are taught in a different way than how they learn in school. Now that the computers are installed, the children are able to learn throughout the week and can each learn a level of English that challenges them, instead of one lesson for all the students. Once they have improved their proficiency in English, they will have the opportunity to study courses about anything they want.
This project was set up in May 2017. The students have had 9 months on the computers and they continue to enjoy their time. They have completed the first levels of their English courses and are moving to higher levels.
